PRESAVE NOW

The Kunins are a powerhouse father - daughter folk duo from a bayside suburb of Brisbane called Wynnum. They recently released their second album called Waiting for Lily in November 2024. Since its release, the father-daughter duo have been hard at work on what will be their third album, crafting a collection of music even more ambitious and emotionally resonant: ‘Time is a Cruel Master’.

Ken, a veteran musician, always felt like he was one band member away from the perfect arrangement… until now.  It’s beautifully ironic that the person who completed the band just happens to be his daughter Lily Maia. The Kunins absolutely pride themselves on being able to floor an audience with their live acoustic shows, and were adamant that they would make a record which completely captures this experience. What you hear is family blood locking in with intergenerational storytelling and harmonies that will rival any harmonies in today’s music scene.
